Welcome Session
Hear directly from staff, volunteers, and other members about the center. It’s the ideal time to ask questions and give us feedback. We encourage both new and longstanding members to attend. Includes coffee and donuts. Fridays, November 21 and December 19, 9-10 a.m. Members only.
The Birthday Celebration
Join our great tradition of wishing “happy birthday” to our friends during a pot-luck lunch. Everyone brings a covered-dish to share. Please ask what type of food you should bring when you register. We kindly request that your dishes be table-ready with serving utensils. Friday, November 21 and Thursday, December 18, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Nonmembers must accompany a member.
Afternoon High Tea & Desserts
This is a delightful program where you can enjoy tea and desserts with friends at the center. Tea is provided and you bring a favorite dessert to share! Tuesdays, November 4 and 18 and December 2 and 16, 2-3 p.m. Free for members. Members only.
Singles Night
The singles group is a great opportunity to socialize with new people. This group meets offsite in November and December. In November they will meet at Nectar located on Folly Road on James Island Thursday, November 20, 5:30 p.m. and on Thursday, December 18, 5:30 p.m. at California Dreaming. Call the center if you plan to attend so we can reserve the appropriate seating. Participants provide their own transportation and pay for their own dinner.
