When to Contact a Chaplain:
- In crisis situations
- During times of emotional stress
- When you are lonely or anxious
- When you desire sacraments, scripture or prayer
- When awaiting surgery, diagnosis or prognosis
- At times of loss or grief
- When recovery is in jeopardy
- When you need information or instructions on spiritual/religious issues
- When you need help in arranging a visit by a Catholic lay eucharistic minister, a rabbi, or your own clergy or faith group representative
