A highly skilled team of doctors and nurses
are on staff and prepared to treat a range
of urgent medical needs. The facility is
equipped with state of the art lab and x-ray
equipment in order to provide a complete
and quick diagnosis. Urgent medical needs
may include:
- basic lacerations and fractures
- sprains and strains
- eye emergencies
- gastroenteritis and stomach upset
- sore throats and flu
- urinary tract infections
- other illnesses and injuries
While not an emergency room, our staff
is fully trained in recognizing signs and
symptoms of a stroke, heart attack or other
serious medical condition. Our doctors will
make a diagnosis and can quickly stabilize
and transfer a patient to a Roper St. Francis
Healthcare facility for immediate treatment.
Urgent Care Services is a department of Roper Hospital.
Dr. Valerie Scott is board certified in Family Medicine. She received her medical degree and internship at Emory University and her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Ted Dunn is also board certified in Family Medicine. He received his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. He received his internship at Lincoln Medical Center and completed his residency at South Memorial Hospital. |
