Roper St. Francis includes more than 20 facilities and services in four counties, as well as physician practices, both primary care and specialty. The Managed Care Department's role is to assist our insured patients with any questions or issues related to either our services or insurance coverage for these services. Our primary goal is to provide our community with access to all Roper St. Francis facilities, physician and services through network participation with more than 50 insurance carriers and plans. These insurance plans include, but are not limited to: Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Exclusive Provider Organizations (EPO), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO), Point of Service Plans (POS), and Indemnity plans. This website provides general information about the insurance carriers and plans where RSFH facilities, physician and services are in network, including direct links to most of these plan's websites.

We know insurance can be very confusing, so here are a few hints to make your visit easier:

• bring your insurance card with you to each visit.
• ask one of our representatives at the time of service to verify whether we participate with your insurance.
• if required by your plan, obtain any necessary preauthorizations or precertifications in advance of your services.
