Roper St. Francis Cancer Center maintains an active Oncology Research Department that offers patients the ability to participate in national research studies through their association with the Southeast Cancer Control Consortium. Cancer clinical trials allow us to provide state of the art treatment in cancer care. The cancer research department has studies open in all disease site areas with an average of 30 studies open for treatment and prevention. Participation in clinical trials demonstrates our commitment to furthering treatment and cancer prevention.
