Computer Training
Dedicated Computer Lab
The computer lab was designed with Advantage Gold members in mind.
Join us for exclusive classes including email, Internet and on-line banking
basics, plus scrap-booking and digital camera use. When classes are not in
session the computer lab is open for Advantage Gold members' use and practice.
We have partnered with with Dell computers. If you want to purchase a computer and
like the one you have been trained on, Advantage Gold members will receive
special discount pricing and free home installation.

Take Charge! of Your Health
With topics on everything from nutrition to memory loss, this new series encourages you to "Take Charge" of your health and wellness at every stage.
Grandparenting Programs
These programs include tips on fun things to do with your grandchildren, relating to your teenaged grandchildren, staying in touch through e-mail, creating a great relationship with your daughter-in-law and making a legacy of your collected wisdom and reflections on life.
Long Term Care Education
Advantage provides on-going educational programs to help you better understand your long-term care choices and help you make informed decisions.
AARP Driver Safety Program
This two-day course is designed to help you learn about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust your driving to allow for these changes. This class may reduce your insurance premium.
Retirement and Lifecycle Planning
You're retired, now what? Most people spend their whole lives working toward the day that they can retire, but no one is ever really prepared for it. This educational and fun series on Retirement and lifecycle Planning will focus on topics that emerge at this time in your life including, how to deal with your spouse's retirement, recreation, finances, and more.
Fitness Opportunities
Mallwalkers at the Citadel Mall
Enjoy walking alone or with fellow Advantage members in a climate controlled, safe environment at the mall during extended hours. Mallwalking is fun and great exercise, walking the duration of the mall is approximately one mile.
Home Services
Lifeline Services
Anyone living alone with health or mobility concerns could benefit from having Lifeline services. Lifeline is an easy to use personal emergency assistance whenever it is needed. Advantage Gold members receive free installation of Lifeline service.
Home Repair Network
Advantage has partnered with Home Owners Club of America (HOCOA) to help you with all of your home repair needs. HOCOA is an "AAA-type" service for your home that can match your service needs with the best-certified contractor. HOCOA is on-call 24 hours a day to schedule any home repair from replacing a light bulb to replacing a roof. Advantage Gold members receive discounted HOCOA membership.
Hospital to Home Care Concierge Service
Advantage, in partnership with Care For Life, has developed a specialized program that provides added assistance at the time of discharge from the hospital or immediately afterwards. These services can include escorting or driving the patient home from the hospital, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companion care and a home safety assessment. Care For Life provides you and your family members peace of mind that there is a trained caregiver helping you feel safe, secure and settled after your hospital stay.
These services have been packaged exclusively for Advantage Gold members with a discounted hourly rate and a waived assessment fee.

annual Holiday Party is held in December at Alhambra Hall.

The Big Band Brunch is the event of the year. In partnership with First Federal's 50-Plus Club® and the Town of Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department, join your Advantage friends in the spring at Alhambra Hall for live music and fabulous food.
