Four Join Roper St. Francis Foundation Staff

Charleston, S.C. – The Roper St. Francis Foundation, the fundraising arm of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, is pleased to announce the addition of four new staff members.

Anne Weston Sass has joined the staff as Grants Development Officer. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating the Foundation’s efforts to acquire financial support from external granting agencies. Sass has secured major grants from private and corporate foundations such as the Kresge Foundation, the Coca-Cola Foundation and Wachovia Bank. She has a wide range of experience in non-profit fundraising including major gift development positions at the University of South Carolina, the College of Charleston and the Gibbes Museum of Art. Most recently, she served as Director of Donor Services at The Citadel Foundation. A 1985 graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA, she also completed the Radcliffe Publishing Procedures Course at Harvard University.

Glennda McGann, MNM, CFRE, a graduate of both Indiana Wesleyan and Regis universities, began her career in philanthropy at Indiana University School of Medicine. She has also served as Director of Development at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, IN and Senior Major Gifts Officer with Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. McGann is currently serving as a Director of Major Gifts for Roper St. Francis Foundation with a primary focus on securing community support for the new Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital.

Liza Turcotte joined the Roper St. Francis Foundation staff last March as the Development Specialist, which supports the Foundation’s Gift Officers. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Turcotte is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree.

Amanda Holloway works for the Foundation as the Office Manager as well as Executive Assistant to Foundation Executive Director Susan Sullivan. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May of 2007 with a degree in communications focusing on health. Holloway previously completed internships with both Roper St. Francis and Corporate DevelopMint.
