How It Works

Lifeline's personal medical alert service and equipment options make it easy to select the safety and convenience features that work best for you and your family.

  1. Choose a Lifeline CarePartner Communicator.
  2. Choose a Personal Help Button that fits your style.

Click here to view CarePartner Communicators and Help Buttons.

  1. The subscriber wears a personal help button, either on their wrist or as a pendant. When they need help, they push the button that sends a signal to a communicator in the subscriber’s home.
  2. The signal seizes the telephone line that calls our call center using a toll free number.
  3. Within seconds, one of our Professional Response Associates will assess the situation and summons appropriate help, whether it is a neighbor, relative or ambulance.  Our average response time is under 30 seconds from the time the call enters the call center.

  6. We make sure that help has arrived by keeping the “case” open until the responder pushes a reset button on the subscriber’s unit.
