Community Clergy

Community clergy are encouraged to visit their members when they are hospitalized. Patient room numbers may be obtained at the Information Desk near the main entrance in each hospital.

Clergy ID Badge
The Clergy ID Badge system is administered by the Pastoral Care Department on behalf of all Charleston area hospitals. The badge entitles the clergy person to free parking at all area hospitals while visiting their members. Contact the Pastoral Care Secretary at 402-1124 to obtain an application form.

Visiting Hours
Normal visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. In crisis situations, clergy (with appropriate identification) are usually allowed to visit, subject to the medical needs of the patient or circumstances on the unit.

Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital
